(Ipswich, MA) Xybol Interlynks, Inc. has developed a new Interface Module platform that has enabled a machine-building OEM customer to revamp their assembly process. In doing so, our customer brings their product to market faster and more cost effectively, ultimately increasing their profitability.

By designing the power supply integral to the interface module and controlling both power and signal on the same module platform, Xybol has provided a plug-and-play solution for wiring the machinery.

Old techniques of point-to-point wiring have been rendered obsolete by this new design.

First, the Xybol interface module is provided with wiring to interface with the system controller. 250VAC is then brought to the machine through the module where it is supplied to the controller and all signal and power circuits.

Other connections are made to the module via pluggable European style terminal blocks that allow the OEM to simply DIN-rail mount the module, plug the remaining wiring to the module terminal block headers and burn-in test the machine.

All circuits are fused for safety and modules are 100% electrically tested and supplied with UL & CE approval.
