Xybol
Interlynks, Inc. expands their line of industrial
interconnect devices to provide RoHS/ WEEE (Lead-free)
compliance on all Wiring Interface Modules. Modules are
offered in a broad range of DIN rail or panel mounted
versions that provide wiring transition from high-density
connectors to either fixed or pluggable terminal blocks.

Xybol
manufactures with a eutectic lead-free alloy that provides
bridge-free and whisker-free soldering. The alloy costs 50%
less than tin-silver alloys, reducing the overall cost of
the lead-free product.
The
wiring module platform is PCB-based and provides a quick and
easy I/O transition from a Dsub, flat (Ribbon), or RJ
cabling to discrete wiring. They simplify interconnections
between system I/O cards and field equipment while reducing
installed cost and upgrading installation reliability.
The
modules are provided in numerous configurations of 9 to
50-pin male and female standard Dsub connections, 14 to
50-pin flat cable connections, and RJ11 and RJ45 Modjack
connections. All are offered with fixed or pluggable
European style terminal blocks. A 120 Volt AC Outlet module
is also offered for applications requiring an accessory AC
outlet.
Dsub
modules are compatible with desktop and laptop I/O ports,
and are used to communications between laptops and factory
automation equipment for equipment programming purposes.
Flat
cable modules are used for common I/O applications.
RJ
modules are used for Ethernet connections or CAT5 low-cost
networking systems.
Other
designs are available by request to provide a cost-effective
solution to your wiring needs. Common connectors include DIN
41612, Centronic SCSI or parallel connectors.
